The Y Chromosome AZF Analysis System meets the requirements of EU Directive 98/79/EC on in vitro diagnostic medical devices. The Y Chromosome AZF Analysis System provides a multiplex PCR-based method to analyze the integrity of the human Y chromosome AZF region. The Y Chromosome AZF Analysis System is intended for use as part of a diagnostic workup to characterize male infertility. Diagnostic results obtained using this system must be interpreted in conjunction with other clinical or laboratory data.
